Saturday was one of those ‘it’s so humid that you would sweat even if it was only 40 degrees’ days. The humidity would eventually turn into a storm. That much was certain. We just didn’t know when. So as the rain held off, the ceremony was able to be held outside. The thunder started about 2 minutes after the ceremony…

Somehow, the thunder was a bit of a rouse… more of a long-term warning. The rain decided that our photos and a cocktail hour were important. So it waited… and waited… until everyone was safely inside the tent for the reception. Then, just as Todd was giving a welcome toast, the rain let loose like a kid who just held it in for an entire car ride. I think we got 4 inches of rain in about 20 minutes.

Oh yeah. Then the sky turned pink. Then there was a meteor shower. So that was Saturday. Here it is…
