Over the next few weeks, we've got a lot of maternity sessions coming up! We must have had 8-10 people ask us about maternity shoots who were due on the exact same day. Crazy! There's going to be lots of June babies this year! Just a reminder to all the expectant moms (or soon to be), make sure you contact us early on for maternity shoots. We like to shoot them at around 7 months and we usually book at least 2-3 months in advance. So don't wait!

We met Kim and Keith in Philly. Upon further Facebook inspection, we realized that we know about a million of the same people. Keith and I played volleyball against each other in college, we've met tons of the same people and had lots in common. Well, they're expecting their first pretty soon. Here's a few of our favorites from the morning...

A few months back, we were asked to speak at the Apple store in Philadelphia. As we thought about what we wanted to talk about, we thought it would be good to give a brief synopsis of how our business started and how we've progressed so far. While preparing for that presentation, I started to realize exactly how much of an impact the following two people have had on our business. So much so that I made a 'family tree' of all the weddings that we shot, either first or second hand, because of Ben and Samantha. Sometimes we get to work for people who think we're cool enough (this is rare) to share it with people. Ben and Sam are like the prototype for this type of client and friend.

Our last shoot of the year was to welcome Samantha to motherhood and thank them for all they've done for us. So here it is... Our last photos of 2011.

Man were we excited to shoot this session. It had been over 2 weeks since I (Tony) had taken a photo and over a week for Amy. That doesn't seem like long, but it was probably our longest stretch in 4 or 5 years... As much as we tell ourselves we'll love some down time, we're always just itching to get back behind the camera.

We met Isabelle and Brett at their home and then snuck outside in the rain for a few photos afterwards. I feel like I always say how lucky we are to meet so many great people, but it honestly feels like a gift every time we can shoot for people like this. Thanks I&B for being awesome people and for the great dinner! Enjoy...

On Tuesday we headed out to shoot for Heidi, Steve and a bump that is growing larger everyday. As we drove to their home, it was perfectly sunny and beautiful. As we started shooting inside, we saw some of the hardest thunderstorms I've ever seen. By the time we went back outside... well, you'll see. Thanks Heidi and Steve, you guys were great to shoot for! Hope to be back for the little guy/gal shortly!

Last week we had the pleasure of going down to DC to meet Jonathan and Kathleen. Kathleen is well on her way to becoming a mom to two twin girls! Exciting stuff... well unless you're Kathleen and you're trying to get around town :). As always, we had a great time seeing the DC sites and we even got to use Jonathan's wide variety of plates, badges and permits to feel important. Good times!

A few months ago we got to shoot for Molly and Kevin back when they had a bun in the oven. Well the bun is out and he loves to smile! It's always cool to document this process. So... Heeeere's Jack!

We've been lucky to photograph Nikki a few times over the past few years (her bridal shoot and her and Matt's wedding and engagement) and now there's a bun in the oven! We were really excited to get to shoot at one of our favorite places to start: The Inn at Leola Village. In the sea of rain that is April, we squeezed out a beautiful day for this one. Thanks Nikki, can't wait to meet the little guy!
