Hannah & David

Grab your favorite beverage and a comfy spot, cause you’re going to be here a while. Around a year ago we talked to Hannah and her mom and it was clear from the get-go that this wedding was going to be an event. Welp, it certainly didn’t disappoint!

For us, it started on Thursday evening with a beautiful welcome party on the Moshulu. It was quite literally a perfect night. 70 and sunny with a breeze. We couldn’t have asked for more. But we got more. Both families were so sweet and fun to work with and there were so many heartfelt moments. It was all a precursor to Friday…

I don’t know what our record is for most photos taken/delivered/blogged, but this wedding might be the betting favorite. From the moment we arrived, Hannah and David’s day was packed with events. From the first look to a surprise Mummers appearance, everybody had their head on a swivel to see what was coming next! We were so happy to get to work with our friends at Abominable Productions for this one! Let’s get to the photos…

Getting Ready at the Switch House

Wedding Portraits in Olde City Philadelphia and Switch House

Hannah and David had a very emotional first look at the Switch House before reading their vows and hitting the road. We shot photos around Merchant’s Exchange, Washington Square Park and back at the Switch House! Shout out to Hannah and her mom Golda for planning so well and for leaving plenty of time for photos! We posted a photo of the bridal party from the bar (it’s below) on Instagram and got a ton of reactions. Shots like that are only possible with:

1. Great people.
2. Time.

Luckily, we had both!

Wedding Ceremony and Ketubah Signing at Switch House

Once the photos were over, the party began. Despite a long day, the energy never dipped for a second. The Ketubah signing took place in the Switch House as did the (gorgeously designed) ceremony.

And if you were worried that the day petered out early… You’d be wrong. The party train only gained steam and everybody settled in for a one-of-a-kind night. Thanks to all involved for making such an epic day happen! Now we’re going to go take a nap :)
