It’s back to back Hannah’s! And if these two weddings are any indication, we’re happy to only shoot for Hannahs from now on. Last year we got to shoot for Hannah & Eric around Philly and they made their way out to the burbs for their wedding at Bluestone.
We got the full summer weather experience on Saturday! It was warm, then windy, then stormy. Although the storms rolled in at juuuust the wrong time and the ceremony got moved inside, these two didn’t seem phased. Aside from being so sweet together (and just genuinely smiley people), there were some really cool things at H&E’s wedding. The one that takes the cake (no pun intended) was a discovery we made just a few minutes after starting. Hannah’s dress was her mom’s dress. Not a remake. Not a replica. Her actual wedding dress. In all our years of shooting I don’t think we’ve ever seen that! So cool!

Before the storms rolled in we were able to grab nearly all their photos outside, which was wonderful! Hannah’s mom had requested a photo of the two of them under the veil and when we asked Hannah to put her veil over Eric, hilarity ensued. Those have to be some of our favorite expressions we’ve seen in a while!
Wedding Ceremony and Ketubah Signing at Bluestone
We’ve grown to really love shooting intimate family ketubah signings. It’s such a cool way to have a nice moment before the craziness. Once the ceremony started, so did the thunder! The doors were open at Bluestone and we got a true indoor oasis surrounded by a display of nature. It was pretty cool!

Once we got to the reception, things kicked into high gear, but not before some very sweet and heartfelt speeches. Hannah’s twin brother gave one of the funniest and most unique speeches we’ve heard in a while, turning a series of quirky moments into a slow burn of his dad. It was pretty epic! Well, everything was pretty epic! Enjoy!
