When we first talked with Mike and Steph on Zoom, they told us they were silly and loved goofing off together. Months later we hopped on a flight to Atlanta and met them at the Beltline for their engagement photos. We can now confirm: They were right.
One of our favorite things about this job is getting to see all sorts of personalities and relationships, then trying to translate that in a photo. In Steph and Mike’s case, shooting them was kind of like playing with a jack-in-the-box: We just wind up and let them go. They were so fun, so goofy and so friendly.
