Shannon and Ian had this wonderful idea to spend an evening on the boardwalk and the next morning on the empty beach. After some rain scares, we’re happy to say that it couldn’t have worked out better. Pizza, ice cream, gorgeous light and lovely temperatures. Pretty much everything went according to plan with one small caveat: Sunrise is REALLY early in the summer. I think we all realized that alarms starting with 4’s and 5’s can hit you like a ton of bricks. All was good though… I think everybody got some solid napping in later in the day :)
