Maddy and Carter flew cross country from Huntington Beach to get married in Philly, close to Maddy’s home town. These two are just a delight. Not only are they incredibly sweet and fun, but they’re both quite accomplished people. And while Carter’s many accolades aren’t really things that can be shown off at a wedding, one of Maddy’s certainly is. We were all treated to a performance from her singing at the reception. While some in attendance were already familiar with her skills, we got to witness it for the first time. Wow!
Aside from all that, both Maddy and Carter are so thoughtful. One of their grandfathers made custom statues for each table’s centerpiece and even made some extras to share with the vendors. It was quite a nice gift and one that brought a tear to our (well, Amy’s) eye. It was just a small thing in a series of bigger moments on a great day. We’re so lucky to get to do this and to meet such wonderful people. Enjoy a few favorites from Sunday…
