For years we’ve preached the same message: Weddings can be whatever you want them to be. On Saturday, we got to witness an excellent example of this thanks to Kiana & Robbie. These two will be getting married soon in South Africa, but they wanted to first have a party in Philly to celebrate with everybody stateside. But let’s be clear… this wasn’t just any party. K&R pulled out all the stops.
Let’s start with the location. This party wasn’t at a wedding venue, it was at Underground Arts, a concert venue located BELOW Center City Philadelphia. And while UA can certainly stand on its own, Kiana, Robbie unleashed Kim Rosen and her team on the space and transformed it into a bespoke wedding concert. This included a merch stand, wall to wall posters, bars, photo booths, candy stations and everything in between. And then we get to the main course. K&R didn’t just want music, they wanted an experience. So they flew in Goldfish all the way from South Africa to perform and lead the party.
