When you close your eyes tonight, start dreaming about the nicest day you can think of. It shouldn’t be hard, cause you’re looking at it. Mark and Giana are gems. We were so thrilled to get to share a nice dinner with them earlier this winter and they got the type of day they deserved. The whole day was incredibly heartfelt. I’m not sure if Giana and Mark feel like they’re photogenic or not, but they certainly are. A lot of people misinterpret that to mean ‘good at poses’ and it sometimes can. But it can also mean ‘happy’, ‘willing to show emotion’ and ‘living in the moment’. Well, in this case, we had all of the above.
We got to take advantage of this most glorious day with an outdoor ceremony at Appleford Estate (which we love) as well as an outdoor cocktail hour and a hybrid, tented reception. Giana brought the house down with a surprise performance (or two) during the evening, including singing to Mark during their first dance. She sounded as good as she looked. It was a dream of a day…
