It’s hard to believe that this post marks the end of our 18th (!!!) wedding season! Man, we love this job so much. We’re so thankful to everybody that has supported us ever since we started. It means the world to us that we’ve been able to do what we love for so long and that we’ve gotten to do it for such incredible people. Thank you to all of you for being a part of it! Now for the reason you’re actually here…
We capped off an incredible year with a pretty incredible couple. Sarah and Patrick got a frigid November day, but they couldn’t have been more warm, fun and trusting. We were able to stay (mostly) inside, much to Sarah’s delight. Turns out that sleeveless wedding dresses and winter winds don’t mix. Their group of friends and family were as fun as they were welcoming. They even extended their party and they got after it! From the second the music started, so did the dancing.
Getting Ready in Phoenixville AirBnb
Sarah and Patrick rented this ENORMOUS house nearby to get ready in. Not only was it an amazing spot to host a huge group for a couple of days, but it actually doubled as their Thanksgiving home for the week! We were in awe when we got there. Plus, it was a perfect place to shoot some indoor! When the weather turned cold we changed up the game plan and used the house a lot more than originally planned. It worked out brilliantly.
Wedding Portraits at Rivercrest + the AirBnb
We were able to shoot in a few different spots around the house, none with better light than the incredible front entry. Then we scooted outside for some (very quick and chilly) shots with the group. Oh, and a champagne shower. Afterwards we headed to Rivercrest to catch an early sunset before the ceremony.
Wedding Ceremony + Reception at Rivercrest Golf Club
Once the sun went down, the vibes went up. The ceremony was performed by to of Pat’s longtime friends and was sweet and funny. Once the reception started, it was on. Among the many things we loved about shooting these two, they just always seemed to have great expressions. Whether they were goofing around or just relaxing, it was just a joy to shoot for them. We’re so happy we got to end an amazing year with two amazing people!
