Emily & Sam

I don’t quite remember when we heard about it, but a while ago we ate at Lark and got a glimpse of The Pump House. If a venue was ever up our alley, this was it. Great food, a beautiful and industrial look with lots of natural light. It almost feels like cheating that our first time there was with Emily & Sam at an event put together by Kim Rosen. Both Emily, Sam and their entire families were a joy. They were sincere and heartfelt. It seemed like every 15 minutes there was a new moment with a new person that was going to become a core memory.

Whether it was Emily’s mom speaking at the rehearsal dinner, the ring bearer’s wry smile while seeing a bride, grandparents cutting it up on the dance floor, Emily’s brother pouring his heart out during a speech, Sam’s parents witnessing the Ketubah signing or Emily’s dad seeing her for the first time… The hits just kept on coming. One thing we’ve really grown to appreciate is when you can tell that people put their energy into making a wedding a celebration of the relationships that helped form the couple. This was especially evident on Saturday. Please enjoy!
