Kim & John

Without getting too big-picture-sappy on you, we’ll just say that we’ve been lucky to have a career that we love. It’s brought us joy and friendships, taught us a lot about ourselves and others, and has opened us up to be more accepting and understanding of people that are different than us. But maybe the greatest thing that this job has done is given us the opportunity to see the world. We’ve been so lucky to explore so many corners of this earth with so many couples. While we’ve been to a number of beautiful places, it never ceases to amaze us how many of them are actually on our home soil. Exibit A: Acadia National Park.

Kim and John reached out with a plan to take their small group for a ‘pop-up’ wedding within the park. It’s hard to describe how much we love these things. Making last minute audibles, adjusting for sunlight, rolling with whatever happens that day. It’s in our DNA. Kim and John get that. We spent a few minutes photographing them (and their kids and parents) getting ready at their AirBnb, then headed to Otter Cliffs for their sweet ceremony performed by Brian, their pastor from home. Then we drove around the park with Kim & John for some portraits all over the place before dinner at the Reading Room accompanied by a gorgeous sunset.

Thank you Kim and John for having us be a part of your adventure and treating us like family! We’re honored to be part of this!
