Emma & Yuan

The story of this wedding goes back quite a while. Probably somewhere around 7 or 8 years if we had to guess. We first met Emma through volleyball, where she and Tony became doubles partners for quite a while. We first met Yuan through volleyball, where he spent most of his time humiliating Tony. After a while of knowing both, it’s pretty cool to say that we were around as they first got together and got to see parts of their relationship early on. Well, until they decided to leave us for San Antonio.

So when we saw their engagement announcement, we were obviously happy for them. Selfishly, we were really hoping that we might get to either shoot for them or attend their wedding. Welp, we kinda got both. E&Y took a little different approach. They got married on the family farm where Emma’s grandmother still lives… on a Thursday. It was just family and a few friends and we were so lucky to get to witness and photograph it! A few days later, they had a big reception at the same spot and we were again lucky… because we got to enjoy it as guests! We couldn’t asked for better weather, better people or a better experience. Here’s some photos…
