We love getting to discover new places and we were absolutely loving our first time shooting at Bohemia Manor Farm on Saturday! It was a warm and sticky day with a bit of rain sprinkled in (see what I did there?). Katie and Andrew are so kind and easy going. They wanted to do their first look in the vineyard and when it started drizzling, they didn’t flinch and just went for it anyways. We kept looking at the planners from Simple Soiree and just saying that we just love when people just roll with it and do what they want even in slightly less-than-ideal conditions.
Well, the rain didn’t last long and we were treated to a sunny, humid day for a sweet outdoor ceremony and reception. Well, except for about 30 minutes of a very well-timed storm that passed through. It was quick enough that everybody was able to hang inside and grab another drink. Oh, and it left us the most beautiful rainbow! Here’s a few from the day…

BMF had soooo many great places to shot. A vineyard, a long tree-lined drive, a beach, a pier, beautiful buildings.. Whew. We couldn’t hit everything, but I guess we’ll need to go back :)
Wedding Ceremony at Bohemia Manor Farm
We took the short walk down the road for a ceremony by the water’s edge. While the wedding was on the small-ish side, there were a few uninvited guests that were watching from the water and added a little extra enthusiasm.

Back up the road we enjoyed a tented reception overlooking the vineyard. Katie’s dad shared a hilarious speech (complete with visual aids) and after a brief storm delay, we were back at it. Oh, and we snuck in a few more photos down by the water at sunset. It was a great day!
