We’re back after a few weeks off and weddings are going to start coming in as we warm up. It’s hard to believe that our last wedding was snow and we’re already in the mid-60’s. Not much else has changed, but this here blog was once again listed as one of the Top 100 Photography Blogs and one of the only ones from an actual photographer showing photos (rather than education). So that’s pretty cool!
Michelle and Chris were so incredibly sweet. They have a history with Speakeasies and wanted their wedding to have that vibe. Not only did they choose an amazing spot (the historic Knowlton Mansion), but they rounded it all with the coolest period-specific details and even a band that played songs on theme. It was a wonderful way to jump back in!

After an emotional first look, we took a few photos around Knowlton before stepping into the carriage house for a very heartfelt ceremony delivered by a good friend. Before it kicked off, we even got treated to one of Chris’s homemade Italian elixirs. It made for a cool ceremony and a very yummy drink!

In true Michelle and Chris fashion, they extended both the cocktail hour and reception so they could party the night away with friends. We had such a wonderful time with these two!
