We tend to go to the Cork Factory when it’s chilly. Which is kinda great to be honest. There’s so much character in their indoor spaces that it’s beautiful any time of year. Brianna and Justin were so laid back and easy-going that it made the day a dream. As we get towards the end of our season, we’re even more thankful for chill people like them. They make our life easier and make shooting so fun! We spent most of the day at Cork, but took a little detour to downtown Lancaster for a couple quick photos. Enjoy!
Getting Ready at Cork Factory Hotel
A few years back, the Cork Factory upgraded their spaces for people to get ready. We’re big fans! Have a small bridal party and friendly, happy family members made for a really nice, calm environment in these beautiful spaces.
Wedding Portraits at Cork Factory + Downtown Lancaster
Brianna and Justin did a first look, then we hopped in our car and scooted a few blocks over to find some remaining bits of fall at nearby Musser Park. Afterwards, we met back up with the bridal party for some shots around Cork Factory. We really love weddings where we escape with the couple for a bit. It allows for privacy and a breath away from the questions and distractions for them!
Wedding Ceremony + Reception at Cork Factory Hotel
By the time the ceremony started, the sun had set and it was a perfect, candlelight ceremony. Justin’s dad officiated, which was really cool to see! Then the room got turned around for the party. Among the many things that we loved about this night was a cool Persian tradition that we hadn’t seen before where the eldest person at the wedding gave a speech. That happened to be Justin’s grandfather and it was really sweet. We thought that was such a cool way to honor a life well-lived. Here’s some images from the rest of the night…
