We get around. And we like it that way. We've shot engagement photos in parks, museums, monuments, broken down factories, condemned houses, kitchens, baseball stadiums and about a million other places. But we've never shot in a bowling alley... and there's never been a bowling alley as cool as Lucky Strike in Philly.

Jill and Craig are getting married next year and have quite a history with the sport of bowling. Well, at the very least they really like doing it. It was actually a pretty awesome place to shoot, kind of like Jill and Craig... awesome.

(Also, you should be proud of me for talking about bowling and making no references to Kingpin or the Big Lebowski. I would never munson myself like that.)

We met Michelle in Kevin in a place where we've been a million times, but never actually stopped to look around: Northeast Philly. New places are always the best! There's nothing like putting a fresh pair of eyes on something. These guys are getting married next May. Some people are just great together in front of a camera... Kevin and Michelle are. We like them because they love food as much as we do (and because they're lawyers so we're contractually obligated to). Thanks guys, we had a great time!

Last night we met Amelia and Chris in Philadelphia. It was a cloudy day. We were shooting around town for a while and I was setting up a shot. Amy looked up and said 'look at that'. All of the sudden there was a bright red sunset and we were running for the top of the parking garage. We made it up in time (you'll see those below). A sunset like that is pretty hard to top... until you see a garage door with a batman logo on it.

This week we had the pleasure of heading to Lancaster to shoot for Megan and Ryan at Millersville. We love these guys and can't wait to shoot for them more this fall. We saw them at Stacy and Mike's wedding a few months ago when Megan tore up the entire dance floor. Should make for some good times. This week, we even got to trespass for a while... I'm just not going to say where...

A few times a year, I (Tony) get the opportunity to teach some small 1-on-1 sessions for other photographers. On Friday Jeremy came in and spent the day here in good ole Downingtown. We put a call out for some volunteers and Ashley & Drew stepped up for us. Here's some of the photos from the shooting portion of our mini-workshop on Friday... Enjoy!

328 years ago Wiliam Penn landing in Philadelphia. I guarantee he wasn't this cold. We showed up an found Alisha and Rob in 25 degree weather with what felt like 80mph winds.... in other words, it was COLD! Alisha was wearing sweatpants and changing in and out for each photo. We couldn't believe how awesome these guys were to shoot for. They were so game for whatever we wanted to do, never said a word about how cold they were and had a ton of fun!

Oh, and I (Tony) got to go ice skating while shooting :)... Enjoy!
