It was pretty clear from Kim’s first email that she and Mitch were going to be the perfect clients for us. It was kind of funny how it happened. I don’t think we’ve ever just randomly given a business card to someone. It’s just not our style. Well back when we were shooting Elise and David’s wedding last year, we saw Kim poking her head around and decided to say hi and give her a card. We hadn’t done that before and haven’t since. Well the next day we had an email from Kim and we couldn’t have stumbled upon two more fun people to shoot for.
One of the last emails we have from Kim and Mitch described the places the wanted to go on their wedding day. Actually, it only described one place: Dumpsters. If you think people normally stare at a bride and groom in the city, you should see how they react when they’re climbing in and out of dumpsters… and it wasn’t even our idea. Shocker.
So, this is the tale of one of our favorite couples ever… Kim, the hilarious dumpster-loving bride and Mitch, the guy who we text about important sports photography things and the record holder for most-photos-flicking-off-our-cameras-because-we-were-making-fun-of-him-while-shooting. You guys rock.
