It's the last post from a crazy week! We haven't gone 5 for 5 in quite a long time (kind of like the Phillies)..

This week we were in Hibernia Park with Ashley and Justin. We loved shooting this session (that seems to be a theme lately). There's not much to complain about when you have great light and really fun people to be around. These guys are getting married next year, which seems like a long time for us to go without hanging out with them. I guess that's a good thing...

We've got a ton of great stuff to blog this week from an amazing weekend of shooting (and weather)... But before we get there, we have this wonderful shoot to share from last week. We met Emma and Frank at Haverford, where they got engaged and walked around the trail where they spend lots of time taking walks and playing with their dog. It was a gorgeous night...

Lauren and Austin are imports from Iowa, living here in the Northeast for a few years. We got to shoot in and around the city with them on Tuesday. After about a month of postponements and about 2000 radar checks, we squeezed in a few hours without rain... woohoo! We had a lot of fun with these two, sent them to our favorite place for guacamole and discovered a few areas of the city that we would have rather not seen (well, smelled)... Good times!

Last night we met Amelia and Chris in Philadelphia. It was a cloudy day. We were shooting around town for a while and I was setting up a shot. Amy looked up and said 'look at that'. All of the sudden there was a bright red sunset and we were running for the top of the parking garage. We made it up in time (you'll see those below). A sunset like that is pretty hard to top... until you see a garage door with a batman logo on it.

One of the first questions when we arrived on Wednesday: "How do you guys feel about trespassing?" You can guess how that went. We spent the evening around the beach in Jersey shooting for Jo and Tyler. We can't wait for their wedding next year at one of our favorite local spots. We started out at a baseball field to get a save the date photo for them (we're making baseball card postcards!) then headed to the water. We had such a great time with these guys... which brings me to a very important point that we covered while shooting: If we've shot for you in the past, we should probably hang out with you again. Restaurants are calling... let's do this!

Picking out our favorite sessions when people ask is sort of like picking a tattoo. You want to do slowly and with the perspective of time. So without preemptively jinxing it, I'll just say that this one is in the running...

Brian and Danielle wanted to do their engagement shoot in a kitchen. Sounds pretty cool in itself. But having two very happy people doesn't hurt either. One of the first things we tell people when choosing engagement sessions is not to worry about the places where they think engagement sessions should be and just pick something fun. We're so glad these guys were flexible too. On the way to the house, Amy spotted a broken down train on the side of the road that we went to after the kitchen. Hope you enjoy these as much as we do!

This post is sort of a long time coming. We've know Adrianna for what feels like forever (although it's not). I told her way back in the day (before Ralph even existed) that we would be shooting her wedding someday and in about a month we will be! These guys are great together. We couldn't be happier for our friends to be so happy. Oh, and if they look familiar, it's because you probably saw them in our portrait project in January.

Also, this is the week of cool engagement sessions for us. We spent the first part of this shoot climbing around rocks and the second part at a carnival. It's so fun when people have interesting and fun ideas. We feel like we're at our best when we get to try knew things. I may or may not have fallen in the water a few times during this shoot...

Day turned into night (it'll do that), and we took a little trip to the carnival!
