Steve & Amy in Lancaster

A few months back we had the pleasure of working for VFCC and got to meet Steve and Amy. Fast forward a few months and Steve proposes at the Space Needle is Seattle. A strong move. Fast forward a few more and we're wandering around Lancaster with Steve and Amy... great people and a joy to be around! Can't wait to see you guys again at VFCC in a few weeks. Thanks for being so easy and fun to shoot... Enjoy.

Liz & Andrew in Elizabethtown

I told Liz on the phone that I love shooting when there's scattered thunderstorms. For the first 30 minutes of their engagement session, I was looking pretty foolish. We were in the 'dark red' portion of the radar map. Then it cleared up and this happened...

I got really, really wet attempting this... Thank you Canon for making products that don't die in water.

What an awesome set! Was this Monday night by any chance? I was commenting on how perfect the lighting was that night as the storms passed through the Unionville area during our kickball playoffs!

  4. liz & andrew

Andrew just called me and all he could say was, “They’re up and there’s a sweet Cherry Alley picture!” :-) Waiting through that thunderstorm was totally worth it, the pictures could not be more beautiful! Thank you so much Tony and Amy!

  5. Beautiful! The second I saw Elizabethtown I was so excited. Met my hubby of almost 9 years when we were in college there. :-) Thinking of doing something similar when we hit 10 years. Love it!

  6. Dena

I think there must be a rule somewhere that it must rain during E-town photoshoots… beautiful pictures Liz!

Dena & Mark | Engagement

On Friday, I had the pleasure to be back out behind the camera. Of my 3 shoots that were scheduled around this weekend, Dena & Mark were the only ones who were waterproof (and windproof and thermal). Big thanks to them for being willing to go out. I actually really wanted to shoot in the rain, so it was fun! We went to Elizabethtown College, where both of them went to school and where they'll be getting married this October.

Also, since the shoot was near where I grew up, I had the pleasure of being joined by my Dad as an assistant extraordinaire. Thanks for dealing with the weather Dad! Hope you're not sick :)

Here's a few of my favorite images from the day...

I love the one with their fingers holding the ring. Such a nice idea!

  2. Dena

We absolutely love these Tony! Thank you (and your Dad) sooo much for shooting out in the rain for us!

  3. Dang, Tony. Y’know – I was going to tell you I liked the ring shot. Then it was going to have to be the ring shotS. Then I realized I liked so many others – so I was going to tell you I liked your creativity. But I thought to myself “I want to be specific about his lighting, too!”
So – I guess I’ll have to leave it at “good work, TH!”
    An inspiration yet again

  4. I second the one holding the ring between their fingers. Simple, fun and creative. Great job.

  5. Great set once again Tony. I don’t know why but I just love number 8!

    Well done

  6. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the picture of the couple through the door! So creative!
