Mandy and Ed take a diversion

Story time. Long ago in a land far away there was a beautiful garden (we'll call it Wongwood Garderns to protect the innocent). There were two photographers that shot photos all the time at Wongwood. As a result, some of their clients would request to go to Wongwood to get engagement photos taken. But since the photographers (we'll call them the Woffer's to protect the guilty) know the schedule of Wongwood sure as the sunrise, they didn't bother to check the closing times. When the Woffer's showed up to Wongwood they found a strange site... Wongwood was closing early on one of the most beautiful days of the year. Silly Wongwood, silly Woffer's.

The good news for everyone is that Mandy and Ed are pretty awesome and couldn't care less... and due to Mr. Woffer's vast charm, wisdom and good looks, everyone was able to find a perfect spot nearby. Here's a few of favorite photos from the day, courtesy of the mystery photographers...

So you found a tribal hut nearby Wongwood? Shot turned out great! Maybe better that way :)

  2. Oh my gosh, the Woffers must have twins! We JUST did that at “Wongwood Gardens” two weekends ago! We found another space nearby as well, but ended up going back to the gardens the next day to get some additional shots ;)

Is it bad that this post makes me want to say “Wong wive the Woffers!”?

Sabina & Leo’s Engagement in the Woods

This is the week of unique names. We have shoots coming to the blog for 4 names that we've never shot before Sabina, Leo, Fritz and Roxanne. Creative parents! On Monday, Amy and I headed up to the woods to shoot for the first two, Sabina & Leo. We drove from sun through the darkest clouds you'll ever see and witnessed a thunderstorm and about a dozen other weather phenomenon in about 30 mins. Luckily for us, the good Lord decided that the storms would stop from 6-8pm and brought back the sun for good measure.

We had a lot of fun with these guys, complete with a cliff jumper and various falls into the water. Thanks you guys for climbing, sitting balancing and risking life and limb for these. Hope you like em :)...

I love this one. It's worth noting that these guys were sitting on the ledge of a looong dropoff. I was scared and I was on secure land.

Emily & Nathan | Engagement

Emily & Nathan are some pretty sweet people. They live way out in Central PA (I'm refraining from making any jokes about Central Penn)... and came out for a long weekend for their shoot. We really hit the perfect day. The leaves have officially turned, the weather is perfect and it's just prime time for photography. Had a great time with these two, look for them again 2 summers from now! Shot on Monday at St. Peter's Village, my little gem of a spot. Enjoy...

Some maternity shots (at their request)...

Tiffany + Chris | Engagement

On Thursday I headed back out to Forbidden Drive in Philadelphia for the second time in 3 days for Tiffany + Chris' engagement session. I really had a great time with them. They wanted some shots with their dog, which was a great change of pace, even if the dog just wanted to go swimming in the creek. I like this session quite a bit, hope you do too... Enjoy!

Tara & Sam | Engagement in Philadelphia

Philadelphia has this great spot near the city where it's completely wooded, lots of paths and trails. I never knew about it and now I've shot there twice in the same week. Wild... On Tuesday I was out with Tara & Sam. These guys were at a wedding I shot a few weeks ago and were actually set up by Ryan (the groom). I love having connections with people. Anyway, I really liked spending time with these guys. I get so lucky, almost all my clients are people I'd want to spend time with on my own. So good to have that... Thanks guys for the fun time. Enjoy!
