Tuesday we were in Montgomery County to shoot some residents of the Dock Woods communities. These were too cool not to share. We (and by we I mean Amy) are obsessed with home improvement (and by home improvement I mean house-flipping) shows. HGTV is Amy’s go to channel when we have some free time. One of our good friends flips houses for a living, which I’m pretty sure would be Amy’s career if she ever wanted a new one. So between our friends Ben(who flips them) and Jeff (who sells them and sold us our house), there’s a pretty good thing going on. Here’s a house Ben flipped and is for sale at 932 Tyson Drive in West Chester, PA.

I know it’s weird to see Real Estate photos on this blog, but it’s fun for us to do different things sometimes. If you want to live 10 minutes from us (doubtful, but maybe) you should buy it… Call Jeff, he’s nice :).

Arcadia University | Commercial Work

On Monday and Tuesday I was out of the office all day. One of the fun things for me is getting to do some occasional commercial work. I like it because it allows me to focus more on singular photographs rather than complete stories which helps me hone some things as well. So, these are for publication for Arcadia University, a beautiful university near Philadelphia.

I was lucky to be hired (and assisted) by one of my former clients, the lovely Allison. She had a bunch of different setups for us to hit as well as some shots of the school itself. Here’s a few of my favorites from the two days, hope you like ‘em!…

LBC Lacrosse Team Photos

After postponing this shoot twice, I was really excited to head to Lancaster Bible College this week to shoot for their Women’s Lacrosse team. Was a fun time. They’re a cool group of gals. Their coach, Jess, wanted some photos of the girls and to remember her time with the team. She’s moving to Texas soon… boooo :)

I owe a big thanks to my good friend Alan for helping me out. I rarely have photographers come along to shoots, but Alan knows his stuff and I knew he’d be helpful to have. Boy, was I right… So, here’s something a bit different for you to check out. Enjoy!…

Landscapes of the Main Line | Commercial

If you listened to my interview with Rangefinder Radio a few weeks ago, you heard how some of my favorite photography to look at is landscape and commercial photography. I may have even mentioned that I hope to do some of it someday. Well, I didn’t have to wait very long. I was commissioned by George’s restaurant in Wayne, PA to shoot some shots around the Main Line, their local area. For those of you who aren’t from here, the Main Line is a historic part of Pennsylvania, known for it’s enourmous and magnificent mansions. Many of these structures are still used as houses, schools, ect..

The restaurant is going to be displaying photos of many local attractions or well-known sites. So, here’s a few of my favorites from a December day in southeast PA. If you want to see some of this work on display, head down to George’s in Wayne. Great place with a great Director of Sales (who you can see here). Enjoy…
