Wow, Saturday was great. It's such a good feeling to be able to look through a wedding and feel like everything just went perfectly. Cait & Jeff were the reason why. Not only were they easy to work with, but they had some great ideas, lots of style and a really fun crowd of friends. We owe a huge thanks to the guys in tuxes who were running, jumping, playing cricket and bike-riding despite the heat.
The wedding was in Lancaster, so we travelled around with Cait & Jeff a bit beforehand for some photos. Later we met up with the whole bridal party. Reception was at the beautiful Hamilton Ballroom, a really easy place to work. One of those days that makes you wish you could shoot a wedding every day...
And then things started to get a little bit adventurous!... (See photo at bottom)

A little behind-the-scenes shot... Yes it was moving, yes I almost got ran over, yes it was worth it.
by far my favorite set! i love how off-the-wall and different some of them are. my favorites are 7, 10 and 16.
Besides the photographer, there are lots of things I love about this wedding: 1) her hair, 2) her dress, 3) the variation in bridesmaid bouquets, 4) the fact she had photo ideas ahead of time, 5) it was in Lancaster, the center of the civilized world, 6) the willingness to shoot amidst the unrefined urban landscape, 7) the behind-the-back love scene captured with the fisheye.

Wow – the action shot from the hood of the convertible is AMAZING! Awesome work!
What a treat to see the final product of the “moving car” photograph! You realize you might have to pre-screen your clients now on their driving record to ensure you safety since everyone will most likely want to have such a unique photo! Congrats Tony, you just brought it up another level!
Tony and Amy – You exceeded our expectations! I mean, we knew of your reputation, even stalked your blog and we are just blown away by these pictures! When Cait & Jeff first got engaged, Cait was adamant about having the two of you take the pictures at their wedding. So much so, that she booked you before anything else (of course this made me a little nervous…I mean shouldn’t you have the church or reception figured out first?) Now I can see why. You have captured their story, and it is so much fun to keep going back over the pictures…it’s like we get to relive that wonderful day over and over again. Thanks so much!

That fisheye picture of the two couples holding hands is one of my favorite pictures you ever took. and Rob asked, why is that guy sitting in between them??? I said, thats not the point:)
