On Tuesday, I spent my day down in D.C. shooting a family sessions for the Chastains. One of the great joys of my job is not only being able to go to all kinds of cool locations, but to be able to reconnect with lots of people I haven't seen in a while. Jen and I went to the same high school and youth group but hadn't seen each other in ages. It's so cool to be able to shoot for people and see how their lives have changed. So, with that said, here's their family...
We shot these at the National Arboretum in DC. Beautiful place with some great flowering trees, lots of bees and a smolderingly hot day. Enjoy!...

LOVE LOVE LOVE that silhouette. I have a thing for silhouettes, but that one is just epic.
Love it, the colors are beautiful, the clarity and content are yummy. I really admire you work!

These are amazing shots. That last one especially.
WOW! I am just drooling over myself looking at these (more so than the toddler). Number 9, 10 and 12…heck, all of them….are amazing.
I Really enjoyed looking at the portraits of this beautiful family. Great shots too! I’m about to have my first family portrait session since having my second baby, and was looking for some good inspiration. Thank you!
