On Saturday, Amy and I had the pleasure of shooting an early wedding with Candace + Ryan. Amy went to high school with Candace, so we had a bit of a connection in finding these guys. For about the one millionth time this summer, most of the pre-ceremony conversation centered around the weather. Luckily, it stopped raining just in time and turned into a gorgeous late morning for a wedding.
Talamore Country Club is just a beautiful venue, as you’ll see in some of the photos below. We loved having the balcony to play around on and that huge mural-painted wall! Candace + Ryan fit the daytime wedding idea. A really casual and fun couple, with two great groups of friends. Cool bridal parties make our job so much easier/better. Thanks to all involved, enjoy!…

This was actually totally unposed. This is their entrance to the reception. I told you it was beautiful…

This is the last frame I shot for the day. It’s Candace apologizing to me for throwing the bouquet on 1 instead of 3… Thought it was funny :)…

Robert:
Some of the best all natural light photos I’ve seen! Probably one the best sets from you as well. The unposed entrance photo is truly awesome.
June:
Another set I’m just in love with. Love the ring shot and the first shot of the venue. What a beautiful wedding.
Mark:
Wow! Beautiful work!
Travis Williams:
this all natural stuff from you is faboo…. makes me a tad ill that you knock everything out of the ball park.. i’m barely fit to be the ball boy in the same park as you HOFFER’s – the both of you… Amy’s rocking iT
Leslie:
The shot of them dancing with the bridal party lined up behind them is presidential! And that wall is really great, I agree. So is the fact that is cake-smashing fingers are IN her mouth. Ha.
Scott:
Your work is simply astounding! You’ve got an incredible eye! I can’t believe I was first brought to your site looking for the photo that inspired today’s RIPT t-shirt… when I hit the link, I just sat there transfixed as this endless stream of flawlessly beautiful portraits shown before me… really unbelievable! Please, keep doing what you’re doing — fill the world with the beauty you’re both capturing and creating! And, thanks for sharing it all with the rest of us!
(…OK, now I have to go and start voting for you at Rangefinder — GOOD LUCK!)
Stephanie Osborne:
The ring shot is lovely… I like the dancing photo with them in front of the windows and the crowd around. My favorite though is Amy’s shot of the cake feeding from above! Awesome and so different!
Staci:
I love Amy’s shot of them dancing from above. Beautiful!
