Ok, so you may remember that in October and November, I held a contest where people could write in interesting ideas and win a free 2-hour session with me. Well I shot my first session last night with Andrea & Ryan, a couple who got married about 9 months ago and wanted some shots post-wedding. I’m personally not a big fan of the term “Trash the Dress”, because it sort of implies that the purpose is simply to ruin clothes. With that said, we just tried to get some great pics without having to worry about what happened to the clothes… see the difference?? :)
For the shoot itself, my friend Alan came along to assist. More on that later. Onto the pics from yesterday…

Things we could have gotten arrested for: #1 – Shooting on construction equipment…

Things we could have gotten arrested for: #2 – Shooting in a restricted resevoir…

And my personal favorite, and probably my favorite shot of the year so far…

I felt really bad for part of this shoot. Alan came along to help out and 2nd shoot. We ended up doing a few illegal things though, which meant that instead of joining us. Alan had to drive my car around for 30 mins to avoid suspicion. So, here’s a self-portrait Alan took while waiting…

Lindsay:
I love her colored slip underneath! And the detail of the buttons in the reservoir picture!
Andrea:
Ryan and I love all the pictures – you are an amazing photographer! We had a great time yesterday, thanks again for giving us the opportunity!!!
Kevin Lam:
Loved each photo in the series Tony, especially the blue cloud one.
