Recently, I was asked by someone to show them some shots from our first wedding. Since I have the weekend off, I thought it might make an interesting blog topic…
I shot the wedding for my friends Jon & Jocelyn. Things were quite different then. Although Amy came along, she didn’t shoot anything. She was mostly just making sure I didn’t screw anything up too badly. I showed up with 1 camera, two lenses and 2GB in memory cards. Now, we show up with no less than 3 cameras, probably around 15 lenses and about 30GB in memory cards. Not to mention a lighting bag that was non-existent at that time.
Lucky for me, not only did I have good looking subjects, we also were at one of the most beautiful spots that we’ve ever shot at. The end result is that despite all the advancements we’ve made, it’s still one of the weddings I’m most proud of. So, here’s some of our first wedding shots…
