Heather & Chris’s Wedding

Sunday we went up to Allentown to shoot Heather & Chris’s wedding. I shot their engagement session just about 2 months ago. If you missed it, check it out HERE.

We had a really nice time at the wedding. Heather & Chris were so thoughtful when it came to us. They left us a bunch of time to work and get some shots with everyone, and gave us a great table (next to the dance floor) for dinner. You may not think that makes a difference, but when the wedding cake is delivered, it makes a HUGE difference!! :)

Everyone in the wedding party was really cool. It made us wish we could have gotten to know everyone longer. Here’s some pics…

Heather’s sweet blue shoes…

Sometimes it’s good to take chances. The wedding coordinator was so nice to block out a pew for me to stand in, but I just thought I might be able to get a cool shot from the side. I was either going to get something good, or miss it entirely. Luckily, I got the shot when the doors opened. Heather was fighting back the tears…

The double-hand hold.

It was FREEZING outside. Here’s our 5 second outdoor shoot…

Just your average, run-of-the-mill ‘Bride has a drink at the bar while 6 people look under her dress’ shot.

Heather’s very nice brother Jason is marrying the lovely Becky (top right) in 2010 in Hawaii. This is Phase One of ‘Operation: Send Tony and Amy to Hawaii to shoot the Wedding’. This phase consists of flattery (above) and everyone telling Becky to bring us along :)

This is Amy & I in 66 1/2 years…

If you recognize the guy in the bottom of this photo, it might be because we shot his wedding last year. However it’s probably because he holds the record for most consecutive weddings attended with appearances on our blog. Jeff and the Dance Floor go together like Peanut Butter & Jelly.

  1. Heather:

wow, why am i not surprised my brother is the one on the floor! hey i loved the set up of the bridesmaids shot with them all sitting down, very nice and the one through the window cut out!

  2. Dad:

I know it seems crazy, but the blue shoe pic is probably my all time favorite. Just don’t ask me why…it just makes me say “wow.” The shoe pic of the guys is a close second. Maybe I just like shoes!

  3. Dad… you just made Amy’s night. She took that one! :)

  4. Donna Westgate:

What wonderful pictures! BUT it looks like everyone was having too much fun. I guess this was a good excuse for not making the Park City Winter Trip, with all this practice I’m getting boarding (and you aren’t), you young folks will be following my snow spray…

  5. 1. I love that cake

    2. I second your Dad, Amy’s pic of the shoes is one of my favorites.

    3. That is one really cute set of grandparents!

  6. The bride:

Lindsay- The cake was awesome for 2 reasons- 1. it didn’t cost us anything, it was included in the reception fees and 2. the snowflakes on it were white chocolate- completely edible! My grandparents are simply adorable and have been married 68 years- hats off to them!
